Walter, you may continue to entertain yourself as long as you want, producing the finest maps and charts, delineating boundaries and taking the guesswork out of whether
any particular place here on Long Island is a village or hamlet, Township, whether it is incorporated or any other factual data that few of us care about, you may continue. As I
review this thread I see that many others have compartmentalized you as a modern version of the Lewis and Clarke expedition, devoutly dedicated to mapmaking and blazing new
trails here on Long Island. That is good and I do not discourage your avariciousness for being the unspoken authority in these matters.
What it does mean, is that you will not feel the burden of having to give to others the information that you so readily provide, you have in a sense been relieved of that responsibility
there is now that great force behind the curtain that has relieved you from that task. I am sure that you may assume a posture of one offended, if it were I who was losing one of the
higher points in my life, I too would find myself somewhat dejected, but Walter I know that you will learn to accept the inevitability that the Internet has taken over many of our formerly
one-to-one situations and I believe that because you as senior citizen have learned to accept what society seems to dish out to people like you and I, for a certainty you will survive this
trauma.
Under "Maps", I Googled "Massapequa Union Free School District, Oyster Bay, NY" and then clicked on "Massapequa Union Free School District" on the left-hand side and the map showed up on the right -hand side.
Pequaman, you can also do this for the cities, villages and hamlets (CDPs), and in that way obtain the URL for a map, which apparently you can not do with the larger versions of these maps.
