The one I used last year took 50% of the savings as a fee. Are there reputable ones which are successful but with a lower fee?

It is not hard to do yourself. It can all be done from the comfort of your chair at home with a couple of minutes of your time. It will save you on both sides.

I am in the town of Babylon and I swear they reject everyone. I used Mark Lewis the first time i did it but not sure if i would again because the take the 50% then receive your check and then send it to you. I don't understand why they don't just notify you and then take the money once they receive the check. I am thinking about doing it myself but i am certain they will reject me and it will have to go to small claims court. Oh when i was rejected the first time my taxes were over 13k
