Best French Fries on Long Island
All American Burger holds the title for the 6th year in a row. I love how All American cuts their fries fresh on a daily basis. You can taste the homemade goodness. I've also been loving Five Guys and even Smokin' Al's fries. What are your favorite LI fries?
A. All American Burger
B. Nathans
C. Waterzooi Belgian Bistro
D. Smokin' Al's
E. Five Guys
F. McDonalds
G. Other ________ (perhaps "READY-CUT" frozen brand?)

All American Burger Drive-in in Massapequa has been voted Best French Fries on Long Island for the sixth year in a row, and one need only order a batch of these crisp, weighty, elongated potato shards to understand why. Peeled and sliced everyday, All American’s Frenchies express the perfect balance of tenderness and density. Dunked head-first in a gob of ketchup, sprinkled with a dusting of sea salt or au natural, these French puppies hit the spot, every single time. Undeniably awesome.

White Castle's fries are pretty good, and I'm surprised Checkers did not make your list Pequa!

Five Guys, hands down. I love the cajun fries. I do make them at home, though.. the cajun seasoning is honestly just McCormick's Perfect Pinch Cajun Seasoning...

Waterzoii has awesome fries but, I believe the sea salt is the reason. Can't go wrong with Nathan's though I never knew they were fresh cut.

Yikes! It just occurred to me that I can't remember the last time I had fries!
Haven't eaten at McDonald's in over 2 years, ate at Smokin' Al's in Bay Shore once about 3 years ago and can't remember the fries, and have never eaten at any of the other places on the list. Not that I don't like fries. I just don't eat at fast-food places other than the occasional Subway, or order dishes where fries are an option or would go with my meal in regular restaurants. Goes with being a vegetarian, I guess.

I agree the soggy ones are not good but, if you eat there and don't have them in the bag they are usually crispy.
