Long Island's latest crime and police reports

The windows of at least 21 vehicles were vandalized overnight Saturday into Sunday in Massapequa and Massapequa Park, Nassau County police said.
Some car owners said it appeared that the windows had been shot, but police said Sunday they do not believe a gun was used.
Police said they were investigating "criminal mischief" incidents that occurred between 6 p.m. Saturday and 12:20 p.m....

Seriously, do they market those lights that go above the garage with motion sensors with CAMERAS on them? I'd think one with a video camera that activates when the sensor is tripped and records to a DVR would be a great idea to find some of these criminals and prosecute.
