Does anyone know if there is a way to stop this! i am sick of this lady driving around in a toyota Camry throwing folded newspaper advertisments on my driveway/lawn. I don't care for them. I don't read them. I was wondering if there is a way to put my address on a list of houses not to litter with their BS. It doesn't matter if i don't pick them up in a month; they will just pile up on my lawn. this people don't get the hint!

Thank you

There was such a list in Garden City but in order to do anything about it, you'd have to have the police catch the person in action, which I'm guessing is hard to do. And I'd bet this person has a permit for what she's doing. Why don't you contact your town instead of asking here, since it goes by municipality?

I don't mind the when we get the weekly grocery circulars. What I do mind is solicitors from the chinese take out joints leaving menus on my porch and Papa Johns leaving their menu hung on my front door knob. everything else always goes in my mail box. Oh and another thing I can't stand is Asphalt companies who leave that little baggie in your driveway with peices of gravel in it and an ad to do your driveway. I know my driveway needs to be redone but I don't need to be reminded every damn week. I'll be replacing the Asphalt I have now with concrete hopefully next year.

When you get it it generally says Newsday or Pennysaver on it. Call them and tell then you address and request they not leave circulars on your lawn. If it continues send a letter delivery confirmed and then when you get the card back phone the entity and tell them who signed for the letter and they must cease.

I don't bother myself with trivial things. I have a more glaring dilemma. It's Saturday and I have not a task or chore to do today. So here I sit...sit...sit....and I do not like it not one little bit. Time for a snack.

This is what I had to do with Newsday as they were the ones behind the ads in the bags in my driveway. It took multiple calls and I finally threatened to have the delivery person charged with dumping on my property.

Problem solved.

Pennysaver is mailed to us.
