You can reach Polish Catholics by advertising in the church bulletins of parishes that have Polish language services. If it's a community oriented announcement then it could be included in that section of the bulletin.
My thoughts are exactly as above poster. The Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lindenhurst publishes a weekly bulletin. They have many Polish attendees or stop into Kabanos Market in Copaigue and there is a newspaper rack with Polish,Ukrainian print.
I'm not trying to ignore religions other than Catholic or to push a particular religion, just giving information on what I do know. My impression (and anyone please feel free to correct me) is that many of the recent arrivals who still speak Polish are Catholic, while Polish Jews tend to have been here a couple of generations and so speak more English and wouldn't be reached as much by Polish-language publications.
According to Wikipedia, currently 89% of Poles are Catholic and many of these are regular churchgoers, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_Poland so going through Polish-language church publications is one way to reach a good number of them.
st. hyacinth in glen head is about as polish as it gets

Oops I don't know why it took me so long to realize that there are all kinds of ads that wouldn't go well in the church bulletin
