Home w/kids for Spring Break--need ideas

Atlantis Marine world but not sure if it has opened yet, Old bethpage restoration,Queens County Farm Museum

Where do you live? My kids are younger but they love the cradle of aviation museum. My library has passes you can reserve to get into museums for free. Zoo. I just saw a thing about the Theodore Roosevelt nature center at jones beach, they had cute programs not sure the dates.

Put the kids to work in the garden. They can learn recycling from composting, water and fertilize flowers for food so they grow, etc. Just look around outside now. Give them allowance, so they learn to earn things, not just getting them as gifts for the cutie. Do it early so they just don't grow up becoming another good for nothing LI teen.

Enjoy your time with the children. If the weather is nice how about a walk at one of the beaches looking for shells or flying kites?
