about middle island,ny (apartment complexes, to rent, price)

Hi - we need help choosing a decent place to rent in middle island where should we avoid at all costs, which apartment complexes should we not even bother with- where a the decent hospitals in that area-which do we avoid?

Why middle island? The hospitals are mostly north of here. I would suggest north coram over middle island. North isle is a nice complex and reasonably priced. Bretton woods is also a nice complex and just south of middle country road.

Thank you- we know very little of the area -middle island is just a point of reference for the general location of where we need to be -my husband's commute is 2 hours each way, we need to get closer to his locale but i must be near a very good hospital- i appreciate any advice
