I live in New York and I am home bound. I was wondering what places deliver desserts. Originally I was thinking Godiva Chocolates or Edible Arrangement but I want to try something a little different. I would like to send something nice to my neighbor for pet sitting. Any suggestions?

Harry and David will deliver gift baskets of varying sweets and delectables. You're better off ordering it online because their only NY store is in Riverhead (Tanger Outlets).

Cherry Moon Farms We ordered a big basket for my friends mom when her husband passed away and I think this place is better than Harry and David IMO. You could also call zabars, they are located in NYC http://www.zabars.com/

There are a few websites I've used: Cheryl's (cheryls.com), Wine Country Gift Baskets and Swiss Colony. I was going to order from Sprinkles Cupcakes in Manhattan but their delivery charge is outrageous.

Funny I was going to suggest to try The Crispery as well. I just ordered on Sunday and it came this afternoon, now that was fast but they are in Roslyn so not far to go. Order fast as it gets warmer they get ruined. Especially if you want ones with chocolate in them. The shipping is a bit high but they are a bargain at onlt 3.50 each.

Very addictive so be careful!! Juniors delivers as well. Best cheesecakes. Try asking some local cupcakes shops as well. I was surprised when I saw that local cupcake shop here on the island does deliver but just local, sort of like pizza, chinese food delivery just in general area . I called and about and hour later they were here.

I have to recommend (whitepostfarms.net). I order bread baskets from them. They have really good breads and pound cakes. Try them out. It's a nice step away from fruits and pure sugar. Enjoy

TheCrispery.com looks pretty cool. I couldn't tell if she has a storefront on LI, or if they're sold in other stores in LI as well?

Edit: I found her list of stores, but I can't tell if any are located in Nassau county. Copy/paste/Google has led to 0 results so far.
