unfortunately I can't wait, I have a dirt lawn. I'll just keep it moist, water several times a day.

Once the humidity sets in, be careful not to water too close to sunset. If the grass stays wet at night too many times you can get a fungus that will kill your "baby" grass. Try to time it so that the turf dries before sunset.

Buy that quick seed that is good for a year. Toss it down, water, hope for the best..and put sod in next year after the sprinkler system.

I used Delalio super mix, organic fertilizer and peat moss. I have been watering every morning at 7:30 and again at 3pm and a light water at 7 if I feel necessary. I figure I should see some grass coming up by the 15th.

Good plan, you should pick up tupersan at olsens, it will help keep the cg at bay. Its the only cg preventer that can be used while growing grass.
