photography is all about taking the things we see all the time and extracting the artistic value of them.

as a photographer im always deciding what to exclude from the scene unlike a painter who has to decide what to include in the scene.

My late Mother gave her time and talents there for many years. From a little cape cod in New Hyde Park but when she was there she carried herself like it was her home. Gave tours and was in a crowd scene in a movie that was filmed there. Thanks for the pics as they brought back fond memories.

they have beautiful grounds (not being sarcastic), other than the geese crap all over when we went. There were areas where you would be completely unable to avoid stepping on some of it.
