The thing is that i dont need to take the subway in the city once i reach Penn station because i can walk from penn station to my work place ,
It would be nicer if i could transfer to the subway for free from Penn station or jamaica but if im going to need to purchase a SUBWAY card AND the already high priced LIRR Card, then no way..
granted, ill have to walk 13 blocks every morning but oh well, so be it.. im not going to buy a subway card($104 a month) so for 2 subway stations.
I have a question regarding the LIRR Card, i heard that a monthly LIRR card starts in the beginning of the month and ends in the end of the month right? unlike the city subway monthly card which starts the 30 days from the day you buy it, regardless of the date..
So what happens if i buy a monthly LIRR card in the middle of the month, am i going to get only 15 days out of my card and still pay for the full price of 30 days $230??
Another option- which my dad did for 30 years- is to just pick up the A train from Far Rockaway and take that into the city...it'll be a longer commute but it should be cheaper since you're paying for only a monthly metro card and not a monthly LIRR ticket.

Besides all the other problems with this plan, the OP doesn't have a car and it is not feasible to bike to Far Rock.
By the way, is the Rosedale LIRR station dangerous by any means? i know that there is a bad neighboor in rosedale, so does that affect the rosedale LIRR station?
And say if i bought a car, can i drive in the morning and park near the LIRR station and go to work and when i come back just drive back home or there are no parking spaces next to LIRR Stations? Which station is most likely to have parking spaces in the streets? Gibson, Valley stream or Rosedale LIRR Stations?
