Maybe a silly question, but I've never actually been to this theater for a midnight premiere before. I usually still to the AMC on hempstead turnpike. Anyway, I have tickets for the midnight IMAX showing of TDKR. I know it will be huge since the tickets sold out in a little over an hour, but I'm not sure completely what to expect.

I have been to this theater before and it was way more crowded than any AMC or multiplex I've been to on LI. I wish they would do assigned seating but since they don't, you have to line up even earlier to beat the crazies :/

We waited in line for about an hour and a half for hunger games for a 9 pm showing on Saturday of opening weekend. There probably was at least 30 already in line when we got on line. Only reason we were so early is dinner was faster than we figured it would be.
Since you are going to the first showing i would do at least 2 hours.
