First take pictures of all the issues - mold, etc. - lots of them - and then move out of there. Once you've done that, take the landlord and broker to small claims court and sue them both. If you can't find the landlord, just sue the broker, and they'll probably find the landlord for you because the broker won't want to pay the entire $4500. It may take time (think months or maybe a year because the courts are backed up), but you will get your money back or at least part of it. If you bring to court your pictures, your lease if you actually have one in hand, your cancelled checks for both the broker and rent and deposit (everything you gave them checks for) for the judge to see, the judge will rule in you favor.
Secondly, go back to school and learn to construct a sentence. I could barely understand what you were writing about. VERY difficult to read.

I was thinking the same thing- hard on the eyes. That might have been the longest run on sentence in the world. Woooo I need wine after that one.
Uh... unless you're rich, 4500$ IS a lot of money.
Or, to put it in LI CD terms, if you speak with a LI accent, $4500 is a lot of money; if you've lived on LI for an extended period of time and never even heard a LI accent, it's not.
