I'd rather listen to Billy Joel than Springsteen. Bruce just sucks IMO. I do admitt they do overplay Billy on the radio.

A buddy of mine in the limo business says he is known as "Dollar Bill" for his poor tipping. He also told me when Billy or someone from his entourage calls they let the call go to voicemail.

He used to throw some great parties when he lived in Port Washington. He used to come out unannounced and play at some of the nearby bars.

The only time we really hear about him is when he has a fender bender due to drinking. That's the last time most of us have heard about him. Otherwise you hear about him with his boat(s) in Sag Harbor.

I always liked Cold Spring Harbor and Piano Man in their entirety. Some of The Stranger was decent as well as 52 street. But when he tries to be something he's not, like a punk rocker on Glass Houses or a Springsteen or Jackson Browne on The Nylon Curtain, he fails. An Innocent Man was grating, but i always liked The Bridge from 1986

We have a technicality on Gene Simmons: he immigrated to Queens, which geographically is part of Long Island.

How about Peter Lemongello or Pat Benatar, instead of Dee and Gene?
