In my opinion the majority of the illegals are trying to do the right thing while there are many who are gangbangers or criminals.

It's not these peoples fault it's the governments. Lazy police officers and silent neighbors who don't take action when they see things.

Again, how did Mexico's issues all of a sudden become ours? I don't support an oppressive backwards joke of-a system there. And why are Mexicans more important than people in Burma or Botswana living under the same or worse conditions?

Just because you and your buddies refer to them as Mexicans doesn't make it true. Nobody wants to support any illegals, myself included. The problem I see is people are more willing to accept an illegal as long as they look the part but, if you are of a certain class then you must ship them all away.

So you don't have an answer to my question and instead want to call people racists. Things are moving along exactly as I suspected they would.

I feel bad for members of my husband's family members who waited years for their husbands to get the ok for them to come join them in the US, they would have been better off flying over here and never leaving than living 5+ years apart to do things legally.

Too bad, we should give amnesty to 10 million Mexicans because they are oppressed.

Mass amnesty was last done in the 80s under Regan. All it did was cause more illegal aliens to settle here in the hopes they too will get amnesty someday. Amnesty is not the answer, we should not be rewarding those who break the law, and in turn only make a bad problem worse.

What's the story with Obama trying to give out 800,000 green cards soon?

Pre 9-11 things were rolling along pretty smooth. Back in the 70's many family members would be able to get residency for siblings rather easily.

It's the American's fault that they have been able to flourish here so blame yourself and understand that the majority of these people want the same as the W.O.P.s did in the old days.
Can't we say the same thing here though? Unemployment is essentially at record 60 year highs. It's survival of the fittest--current legal residents are out of jobs, underemployed, and looking to make a life for themselves, but cheap illegal labor is replacing them? Or at the very least diminishing all employees' worth. I'd rather see those jobs go to unemployed people currently living off welfare or unemployment, than illegals who create a net deficit for the economy. Illegals are fueling higher deficits around the country. We don't need anymore low quality workers from wherever country they are illegally coming from.

I agree and also acknowledge that there is no solution to the problem.
