What???

I meant they took out the eastbound toll plaza that's been out of commission for what, 25 years (at least)? I didn't mean you're not charged an eastbound toll - the $14 is round trip.

Amtrak was considering building a tunnel under the Sound with the following stations on the New NEC before it was it was scrapped due to costs although it was expected to be used by at least 70,000 daily both commuters on a LIRR branch and High Speed Rail Services...

Baltimore Charles Center

Nah , the costs would exceed the benefits....expanding the Rail Network in Central Jersey and Connecting it to Staten Island and Brooklyn will solve that problem. The Central Jersey network should be completed by 2030 and who knows about a SI link... Expanding and Restoring the LI Network and connecting it into NJ via Penn Station would solve the rest.

maybe sumthin simpliar, a tunne lfrom Brooklyn to NJ...its only a 4 mile distance from one side of teh harbor to the other, i dunno y its takin so long
