I wouldn't say minority, some people don't mind it, some do. RVC woudn't be on my list either.
I guess it's all relative to where and how you grew up. I know that RVC is a very desirable town to live in though. Reading this forum is the only time I've ever heard of anyone talk bad about it.

Nobody's talking bad about it. I just find it hard to believe that someone with a net worth of say $50 million would choose RVC. That doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it - it's a great town. But "I'm filthy stinking rich and I'm choosing RVC"? No.

To be fair though, if I have that money LI isn't even an option. There are way better places to live.
Well.. how about Charlottesville, VA? One could buy huge acreages, place a conservationeasement on it and then take a tax credit from the state.
