Pre on North Shore (Oyster Bay, Huntington: YMCA, pre-schools, living in)

Ooops. Sorry. Prematurely posted this thread. It should read "Pre-Schools on the North Shore." Was going to ask about pre-schools in Oyster Bay or Huntington area, but I didn't have my list ready! Will post my list of questions shortly. Ignore in the meantime or offer suggestions if you have them!

Huntington YMCA is the best there is. Quality program, quality caring teachers and director.

You get gym and swimming included for the 3's and 4's, special art, Spanish and science with some groups as well. Special arts-in-ed programs brought in to the school for all age groups.

Half day, extended day, full day, before/after school childcare for full day kids...

The Great Neck Community School has outstanding reviews. They are currently enrolling but I hear that slots fill up fast. Good luck!

Thanks for the recommendations! We will be living in Laurel Hollow, so we are looking at schools in Huntington, Syosset, CSH, and Oyster Bay. I'm really torn since I've gotten glowing recommendations from people IRL about Ms. Browers, CSH Nursery School, East Woods, and YMCA.
