I was tring to go to a few stores on RT 112. They had it blocked off. Anyone know why? It looked like a fire dept. parade. However, there was VERY FEW people watching. Maybe 20 +/-

I would have been pissed if I had a business and NO cars could get to. It was just North Of Woodside.

What parade was it?
I had the same experience in West Sayville - 3 blocks on Montauk Hwy blocked by cops in the middle of so called "downtown".

The Sayville thing was Sayville Summerfest. It was all weekend and there have been signs up for months warning of this. There was a craft fair and 4K race on Saturday and an old car show on Sunday. Most of main street was closed, as were some of the streets south of main street.
