Is Mangano stupid? He hosted an event with a foreign leader from an openly Marxist-Leninist political party and then everyone is shocked that this guy was part an of anti-American/pro-al Qaeda rally shortly after 9/11?

Salvador Ceren = FMLN
FMLN = Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front = MARXIST
Marxist types hate the United States for opposing the great socialist workers utopia

What's next? Hobnobbing with the leaders of MS-13 as they expand and destroy our neighborhoods?

A little hyperbolic and exaggerated. Most don't hate America by a long shot. They hated Bush and Cheney. And these clowns are definitely socialists but they want political power as much as the next guy. They led a civil war that ousted a military dictator who murdered 30,000 people. We generally find that admirable (and back it with guns and money). Now they want social equality so they are "Marxists". It's hysterical that we rant against "Marxist socialists" while we also "discuss" union power of cops, teachers and tradespeople two threads away. We are plenty socialist ourselves. Break the unions and end entitlements across the board. Good luck with that. Damn socialists! lmfao

Still a dumb political move for Mangano but then which of these local politicos has a half a brain?!

Ironic that you mention this because my mom works in the Hempstead public library and he came to the library last week with the village mayor and my mom met him. The only thing she could say about him was that he was dressed in an armani suit and he had alot of gold jewelry on. Menwhile the rest of his country has to suffer in poverty.

Typical 3rd world mentality. He lives like a king while the people he claims to serve have to live in poverty.

The average annual income in El Salvador is about $4,000 a year .... yeah that's the average annual income. In fact, 20% of El Salvador's annual GDP is remittances (money sent hope) from Salvadorans living in the United States. This is why there are so many Western Union locations in Brentwood, Westbury, Hempstead, etc.
