Allstate filmed this at the Broadway Mall (Hicksville: theater, car)

Off topic, but I love the actors from Oz who do clean roles now. If only some of the namby pamby's had seen them in that show they would cringe every time they appear on screen. This guy was amazing on it.
Did you also notice Mayhem hits a car on the driver's side and keeps going but the damaged parked car isn't seen in the background in the next shot? Chances are the only thing shot at the Bdwy Mall was the interior shots...the crash was filmed elsewhere.

The damaged car appears at 15 & 22 secs, but not in the final couple of seconds. The damaged car appears to be about 12 spaces up from the end, and as the pink car turns left out of the parking area, only 7-8 spaces show on screen. I disagree that the crash was filmed elsewhere. The crash was filmed there the evening before. Note the shadows. When the commercial opens, the shadows are mostly under the vehicles and slightly extending westward. When the wrecked car's owner sees her car, the shadows are mostly under the vehicles. When Mayhem strikes the car, the shadow under Mayhem's car points eastward toward the wrecked vehicle. As he drives away (interior shot), the shadow is under his vehicle. Final shots of Mayhem's exterior rear leaving the lot, the shadows of the vehicles point eastward.
This appears to have been filmed on location over two days. The car wreck and departure were from day 1's shoot, everything else was on day 2.
Somewhat related question - does anyone know what was filmed at the corner of 106 and Stewart Ave in Hicksville, across from Holy Trinity? The fake gas station on the southwest corner (not the Hess station) was built for it, but I never found out what it was used in.
Mongoose, I totally agree. Especially J.K. Simmons (shivers).
Dean Winters was my favorite, though.
