I've seen what I think are groundhogs in Hampton Bays and along Sound Ave on the North Fork

We have tons of them around here Ridge/Wading River/Calverton. We had one living under our shed for a short while but our dog harrased him enough that he left.I think they are super cute!

I know people who have them in their backyard. They are cute, they look like Otters or Beavers.

They can be aggressive, reproduce quickly and will destroy lawns. The suburbs are not the place for wild life.
