Lindy is a fine middle class village, just like Levittown in Nassau. Regular folks like everyone going through the recent tough times. If you want a more upscale place to live, pull out your wallet and go. Things could be much worse IMO.

Basically in order to live in a safe, clean area on LI you have to be rich, lets not beat around the bush. I know it's why my days here a numbered, I know I will be leaving when things get too bad, when the time comes. It doesn't have to be this way, if only elected officials would crack down on these QOL issues but it seems they have been influenced not to.

constantly receive complaining phone calls from 1- percent of the residents. 99 %- of the residents disagree and work very hard for their lifestyle to be decent . Do not have the time too complain, just enjoing their few hrs of free time a week. Who are they going too listen too?
