If WG's posts didn't earn him the title before he died what makes them suddenly more informative after we find out what happened?

I'd be willing to bet every single regular on this board learned something useful from WG over the years, whether it was about geography, politics, religion, geneology, finance, or whatever. This thread has turned into a posthumous attack against someone who is no longer with us and thus has no voice to offer a defense.

Talk about glass houses. Let the man rest in peace.
