He broke his leg in an all-star game. Nobody runs the ball like the Seawolves so it may be a case of the scheme helping him out quite a bit. No doubt that he and Maysonet are outstanding college players. Look for the kid from Iowa who transferred in to get the best look of all of them. Each of them may look to play in Canada.
I, among others, was very, VERY impressed with the way Brock J ran and caught the ball. He appeared to be the fastest man on the field. Great open field runner. Could cut like a rabbit. I never saw him get caught from behind. No even close. He also caught a lot of short passes and at least one over the shoulder bomb from Essington that I saw. I think he could be another Wes Welker, Danny Woodhead type player. He also played both ways on occasion for SBU as Defensive back. Definitely should get a hard look from any pro team.
I also thought that Maysonet was a good utility back, strong and stable. Dependable. But he didn't have the same game break, big play ability of Brock J. Even if his 40 yd speed was comparable in sprints, he just never showed the break away speed of Brock in any of the many game I saw. And he got three pro try outs. Brock should be in the pros.
