I was watching this show last Friday, and, lo and behold, one of the locations was Sip This, a coffee shop in Valley Stream!
The subject was breastfeeding kids past the age when one usually stops. The show had several breastfeeding mothers and their toddlers (including a 4 year old) that they used one at a time to breastfeed at a table in the coffee shop in full view of everyone. The show also had an actress in place to loudly complain about the breastfeeding.
Interestingly enough, the only people in the coffee shop that were offended and walked out were two teenaged girls. The rest of the patrons either ignored or were supportive of the breastfeeding mothers.
There is a video box immediately on the top left of the page with scroll ^ and down buttons. Scroll down to find the video entitled "Too Old for Breast-Feeding?"
There was an episode filmed at a diner on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow.
I remember that one. They had a pregnant waitress (actress) whose boss was being abusive to her in front of the customers. The good old LI'ers stuck up for her!

Do you remember which episodes they were? I'd like to watch them.
Not sure of episode titles or anything.
McQuade's had an actor playing a good Samaritan who gives a homeless man money and brings him into the restaurant to sit at the bar and have a meal. The bartender (actor) takes the money but refuses service and asks the homeless man to leave.
At Brownstone's a man and woman sit down for an informal job interview, but the man backs out when he realizes the job applicant is a woman.]
This past week's episode was at McQuade's again.
