I have been watching the devestation of hurricane Sandy on my tv the whole time. I never lost power, TG.
I agree with Reynolds Wolfe that this is the Katrina of the east coast.
I can not believe the devestation of the fire at Breezy Point. My heart, prayers and money (I contributed to the Red Cross) go out to all those so extremely effected by this hurricane. GOD Bless you all.
I second this kind post! I live in Washington, DC and have been reading the horrible stories and seeing the pictures of what's happened up there in New York. As someone who has seen the eye of 7 hurricanes in his life (lived on the Cape Fear coast of NC during the 90's), from Cat 1's to near Cat 4's (and chased up the coast of Florida during vacation from Katrina in 05'), I've never seen anything like this before, except Katrina.
Prayers to those who had severe devistation to their homes and towns especially to those in Long beach.
