Old Town Road, west of 347. Comsewogue school district. Safe area to live???

My wife and I are considering buying a co-op in that area. Children are all grown up and out on their own; no school issues to deal with.

Would greatly appreciate any information or feedback that the members of this forum can offer.

Thank you.

Yes. There's a CVS on Nesconset Highway. The co-op is right behind it......near the Suffolk Plaza, Kohl's and Outback.
Sounds like you may be quite familiar with the complex and the area.

.......and thank you for taking the time to respond.

I believe those coops are ok. Mostly stony brook kids. Although the trashy area of PJS is increasing, it may not affect that area.

You'll be fine over there. The problem areas in PJS are much further east. You'll be bordering S. Setauket; the shopping center is good, I go there day and night.

Thank you for the positive feedback. It is somewhat reassuring.

Thank you. I *thought* we'd be okay, but wasn't 100% sure. My wife is viewing a few of the available apts. tomorrow morning. If the reviews were bad, I'd have advised her to call off the hunt.

P.S. She already likes the shopping on 347.
