Going through some old pictures and found two cartridgues of Kodak Ektachrome 160 "movie film". They were my parents and are dated December '82 so I think they're of Christmas from that year... I really wanted to get these developed in time for christmas this year to give to my siblings but I doubt it's gonna happen.
Does anyone know of a place on the island that I might try to see if they handle this type of old stuff? I found a couple of places on-line but I'd much rather do this locally for several reasons. The places online also have insane turnaround times (one said "between three and twelve months").
So figured I'd try her and see if anyone has suggestions, maybe someone they've used or know, etc.
Just a suggestion but why dont you call someplace like Cameta cameras in amityville. They might know where you could get it developed.
Im no camera buff but i would wonder if it is even possible to develop film that has been laying around for 30 years. I dont think film has a long shelf life unless it has been stored under the proper conditions

I second L&L Camera in Huntington. Lenny is one of the owners - been there since 1956, and they know their stuff. Hopefully the chemicals still exist that are needed.
