This is absolutely rotten, I hope they catch whoever did this. So many good people helping each other and someone does this, gives more credibility to the opinions of NY for people from other states.

The owner of an Oklahoma tree-removal service working in Long Island after superstorm Sandy claimed Saturday that several of his vehicles were vandalized overnight in Huntington.
Paul Nosak, of Tulsa-based Nosak Tree Service, said his crew returned to work Saturday morning and found three slashed tires, severed air lines on a tractor-trailer and damage to the engine of a lifting machine.
One of his truck's fuel tanks had also been drained of an estimated $1,000 worth of diesel, he said.
"It hurts," he said. "It kind of puts a tear in your eye."
Nosak said his crew was doing a job for Huntington Baptist Church on Oakwood Road on Friday and left their trucks parked nearby that night on New Street
I couldn't believe the message left on the tree guy's cell phone. Goodnight is right -- this will validate out-of-state opinions about LIers.
Meanwhile, there are plenty of unlicensed, uninsured local hacks (of all trades) running around and local government is turning a blind eye and not protecting the homeowners nor are they looking out for those who hold licenses. By no means am I condoning what the goon did and said, but I can understand his frustration. Venting is one thing, vandalism and harassment are not acceptable.
