Bummer! Its either my bad luck or the popo are in an ******* mood but i got slapped with a trespassing ticket when i was crabbing with my friends at Captree state park. I have never been to this park before so i don't know the hours of operation. My friend said hes been here many times and this is the first hes experience this.

We were there til 3 A.M crabbing and when i researched the park closes at 10 PM daily.
This is in Suffolk County and my court date is Oct 24th!

How much would this trespassing ticket cost me? How would i get out of it!?

Much cheaper and easier to pay the fines and do the 30 day jail sentence than to fight it.

Trespassing is a pretty serious offense, especially on state property.

If its your first offense you'll just pay fines and plead to a violation.

**** what is trespassing anyway a misdemeanor a felony? Either way if you have no criminal record you're just paying fines for this. Maybe community service.

Good thinking but that is the unions work!! And it must only done once every few years, as you can see our roadways look like a Staten Island land fill.

Seems pretty straightforward to me.
