I am surprised people were actually arrested. Instead of the usual: Max out on retirement via a phony disability and play golf from age 50 for the rest of their lives.

They can drive a train. This is nothing new. There was a story awhile back of another teenager (a boy who was just friends with train operators, not banging them) who used to drive subway trains.

Also, many many years ago, one of them allowed my seven year old son to drive the train.

Back then, it was 'cute' to show little kids the engineer booth or to let them snip tickets or whatever but I'm sure the engineer wasn't sleeping or blind drunk and allowing your son to drive the train completely on his own or reading signals or anything else.
