Cost per sq foot for home addition on LI (Bath: house, construction)

I'm thinking of adding about 600 feet to my home in Long Island. Any ideas on Long Island construction cost per foot ?

The house is a ranch. The extension would be in the back of the house expanding the master bed room, the living room and switching the current dining room to the kitchen.

Between $150-$175/sqft (and up, of course ), unless you do some of the work yourself.

This is all new to me, is it safe to assume that doesnt include plumbing, electric, interior finishing, windows ect.

actually thats just the estimated property tax increase.

That price Elke qouted is correct (includes the basics w/o floor finish & paint.)

Bath and kitchen is more per sq....
