Does anyone remember the name of the Head Shop in Roosevelt Field Mall in the 1970's? How about the stereo/audio store?
The audio store was Audio Den. Those were the days. I remember being around 5 years old, when Roosevel Field was an outdoor mall, watching ice hockey on a rink that was by the parking lot. I also spent a fair amount of time browsing Ed's Aquarium, which was down by JC Penney. I also remember the Runner's world store that was in the 'Le Petite Mall'.

Thank you, Audio Den was one. There were two and one was a corner store. Not sure if it was Audio Den. I worked for a short time in Eds Tropical Aquarium. Wish I could remember the name of the Head shop.
Sorry to say, World Imports still exists today and sells imported funiture and accessories. They aren't and never were a head shop
Back in the late 70's and early 80's, World Imports in Roosevelt Field was indeed purveyors of candles, graphic t-shirts, lava lamps, hemp jewelery, etc...and bongs. You had to walk through the store to an area in the back, where the head shop was. Always a nice selection! Looking for a cite...

In the back of World Imports there was a head shop. It was prettty much set off from the rest of the store.
