I really dont have a dislike for RR employees. I have a dislike for paying so much money for poor service, worse attitude, corruption, inefficiency, and laziness....all embodied by Conductors...probably the worst of all LIRR employees.
Then your dislike should be focused on the LIRR management, not the rank and file workers.
LIRR Management is a joke too. However, Conductors are the face of the LIRR and on public display. They should have utmost pride in themselves and do their job....but they dont.

While I have seen a some slackers, I have seen a few workers. Its like any profession....

that is true. I am tired of passing the buck. the workers are the face of the MTA.
Also i do agree there are always a few bad apples in every industry....but mta has more than their just a few imo. To give credit, i personally met quite a few great people who are RR

they are just a variant of being a thief. petty thiefs to be technically correct...oppose to grand larceny when lirr employees claims LT disabilities costing hundreds of millions. Or an example of LIRR contractors wasted a few hundred thousand on the great neck station platform staircase. everyone's guilty...ooohhkaaaay
Using someone else's ticket is a far cry from $1 Billion in fraudalent disability claims...or stealing copper from the LIRR.
Well 1 person didnt steal $1billion from the RR, it was a lot of people. Plus they stole it from RR Retirement Fund which is a federal fund much like social security so they were robbing from the feds.
The copper thieves (alleged) have not been found guilty of anything (yet)...
You defend their larceny as if you have a vested interest. I suppose you have family that has "worked" for the LIRR
