I say lock them all in a room and force them to all have a thought. See if we get internal combustion.
They're not especially dumb, just very narcissistic. Which is precisely why they were chosen for the show. That's the case with virtually every reality show.
I saw the show and I was disappointed about the way they protrayed Freeport. One of the characters had the nerve to say she wanted to give everyone a hug because she saw a couch on someones porch and a metal fence with greenery around it. Her father told her to lock her car doors and she called it ghetto.
Apparently she has never been to Freeport south of Atlantic Ave?

The crazy thing is how much $$ they are probably making from this.
I saw the show and thought so many things about those women. I don't know if they are all fair but they did open themselves to be judge. I kept thinking this cannot be real (the one that talked about free port) but realized it's the Paris Hilton aka lucky sperm talking.
Once you think about it, Long Islanders are notorious for calling lower middle class areas and even a few solidly middle class areas ghetto and impoverished. So I would say that this is an accurate stereotype of the mindset of most Long Islanders.

That's true. Just don't tell most of them they are living in what some others consider a ghetto. High taxes, marginal schools for what we are paying for them, no real growth industry, and old outdated infrastructure.

They aren't making much. Maybe $1500-2K. You don't make much on a reality show unless and until the show is a huge hit. At that point, you can demand more money.
I HATE when they say "everyone on Long Island" or "ALL Long Island girls".
They should be the poster children for long Islands highly
rated school districts. They must have been trying to figure out the tax base for their school. Apparently it fried their brains.
