Yet again if it was Martin he would get the death sentence.

The refs suck. Strait just gave a good hit going for the puck, and its interference. Unbelievable. The penguins are playing dirty, a lot of boarding.

Isle were completely overhwhelmed last night by the second period.

Cooke did board Streit at one point, looke like he may have been hurt.

So mad at our joke of a coach, he put Nabokov in for game 6, so may it be a 21 year series victory draught.

Well, it was a good season, I mean, I guess you first have to make the playoffs, then win a series. It was not a good goal though. Maybe Nabokov will retire, and going on a huge 1,000 mile limb here, but we could trade for Luongo.

Yep the isles were just outgunned by a much better team. But put up an amazing fight, better than anyone originally thought. They have some great talent, just need a few key pieces to be true contenders. Looking forward to next season.

I think a lot of players were playing injured this series.

Not with his contract. It is another DiPietro mess.
Nabby deserves another 1 year deal for getting us into the playoffs. See who is available as a UFA as a backup/competition.

Nabakov is not the reason the Isles lost. Most of the goals he gave up were deflections, the same type of goals that Lundquist gives up. You can't blame goaltenders for those type of goals, they're only stopped by luck. Rangers just block more shots, Isles are a better offensive team.

The Penguins are considered the best team in the league and will probably get to the finals, and the Islanders gave them a great series.

Nothing to be get crazy about, the Islanders are young and upcoming.

They do need to look for a younger goaltender though and they need one more stay at home physical defenseman.

..and the alternative was?

Nabakov isn't the goat, you faced a more experienced and more skilled team.
