I'm looking to have my retaining wall done over. Currently, it's made of pressure treated wood and holding up well, but I'm looking for something more permanent. Can anyone recommend a good landscaper or mason for the job? I'd be taking multiple estimates, since I'm trying to keep costs down. I was thinking of doing it myself, but the 3' x 42' dimensions have me thinking twice. Thanks!

i am in Commack. I had multiple estimates. I used Castlebrick and Stone. Check out their website. they ate located in Centereach. I had a wood retaining wall replaced by brick and a staircase built. I am very happy with the job.

How were they price-wise compared to the others? Price per sq. ft?
