west islip students in trouble using facebook to "study" (house, school)

how wrong is this? the students of west islip used facebook as a study group to help each other out. can i ask "why" this is wrong? back in my day, we went to each others house or spoke over the phone to share answers. I didnt know since technoligy was being used that it was now "against school regulations".

They took pix of the test answer key, or did you miss the headline and not read the entire story?

If the h.w. assignment was part of the test that can be cheating. Article is badly written as usual with snoozeday. So it's hard to tell, but they definitely did cheat.

i heard it on the news and they did not mention anything about taking pictures. i heard the picture part later this morning.
