It is quite ridiculous actually, and like I mentioned in a previous post of mine, the pathetic thing is that my neighborhood consists of 40x100 properties or smaller accounting for probably over 95% of the houses (westwood, valley stream area).
Oh, and I love how so many people complain about illegal immigrants and all the stuff that goes with them, well, then mow your own damn lawn and a lot of them will go bye bye.

Right on! I agree with you completely! I think it's because of the people in Nassau getting richer as the middle class are forced out. Glen Cove road in Greenvale is a parade of landscaping trucks, they are often standing in the back in summertime, or sitting on top of eachother in the cab (dont believe me, check my photos below). I see less landscapers when I go out to places like Ridge and Middle Island in Brookhaven town, more middle class, people do their own lawns, and there's less landscaping trucks stacked up with illegal immigrants.
Besides, many folks in the pine barrens have some pine trees and scrub oaks as their lawn.
Any given spring, summer, or fall in Nassau county. The landscaping trucks add to traffic, plus isn't it dangerous to stand in the back of a moving truck?
