Just watched Sharknado(as I'm sure everyone did).
Given Long Island's narrowness and how it's just above sea level, could this happen there? Of course there would need to be a large storm surge but it does seem feasible.
What would it do to property values south of Sunrise? Does home owners cover a Sharknado type event with sharks swimming in Hempstead and Brentwood?

No, it could happen. Long Island has a lot of vortexes which make strange weather possible.

Do you live south of Sunrise?

I know for a fact that my homeowners insurance policy covers me if a blue whale were to crush my home, but I am not covered for a shark attack.

My insurance policy requires that one baby zebra has to be involved in any event that a claim be filed.

I think everyone knows I don't like living in Ny. In light of recent current events-this post is in poor taste
