Ahhhhh switch problems this morning. Canceled trains. More BS.

Last week an idiot cut wires causing more delays.

I swear EVERY WEEK there is something going on with these idiots. Last night my train coming home was late almost 15 minutes. No reason or email as to why.

Switch problems on the main line which will impact the afternoon rush.

LIRR has 10 to 15 min. delays in both directions, westbound & eastbound, between Merillon Ave. & Queens Village due to a track condition, as well as an earlier switch problem between Merillon Ave. & New Hyde Park. All trains will make Mineola, Merillon Avenue & New Hyde Park stops today to accommodate customers experiencing cancellations & delays.

I love how they tried to blame the "sudden change in temperature" as their cause for these problems today. Godforbid the temperature changes more than five degrees on any given two days and we might as well book an hour worth of train delays.

Delays again this morning due to "congestion at jamaica." You'd think they didn't know how many trains were coming in this morning or something.

The temperature dropped 8 degrees today. Didn't you plan accordingly?

I wonder exactly what is a "broken" rail.

you wonder how they break right? Well I guess when the rails were installed during the John Adams administration, they have a good chance of breaking.
