HHI refers to the entire household's members' income - not individuals.
So, if the HHI in Plainview is $120K - it means either both Husband/Wife earn $60K each or H earns $120K while wife stays at home (or any combo of the two). I am surprised its only $120K. Almost all the folks I have met in recent years that live in Plainview have HHIs of at least $150-200K.

This is what I was going to say-- it's really not that far fetched.
The "mean" is the "average" you're used to, where you add up all the numbers and then divide by the number of numbers. The "median" is the "middle" value in the list of numbers. To find the median, your numbers have to be listed in numerical order, so you may have to rewrite your list first. The "mode" is the value that occurs most often. If no number is repeated, then there is no mode for the list.
The "range" is just the difference between the largest and smallest values.
