I think we need to have an open mind going into this. Lets forget about our online persona. I doubt anyone will act in person the way they do on this board. I think it could be a fun way to meet some fellow LIers. I don't think Buffalo Wild Wings is the right place. While I loved that places before I became a vegetarian I think we should to a place a bit nicer. I'm really hoping we can get this going.
So true. I am nothing like how I am on here lol. I just say things to get opinions out of people mostly. I dont lie I just kind of exaggerate bc I can. I'm also a lot funnier online which doesnt say much bc I'm not that funny on here but in person I'm fun but a bit more serious I think because I have to be. Bills and **** lol

Actually this was posted & discussed a year or 2 ago, the ex-pats were going to carpool north and crooks was going to arrange for the Rocky Point cheerleaders to entertain. I think it fell through when a chain restaurant was suggested as a venue, I mean after all standards must be maintained...
I don't know. I've never been to the NYC board, but I know this forum has almost no substance and we still have a bunch of committed posters. I thinks we could get good attendance.
Speaking of committed; I think we should have some guys with straight jackets at the door to take away some members upon entry.

I think we have enough interest to make this happen. Lets see how this thread progresses and I'll start a new thread, probably Monday, with a few towns to have the event. I have no problem taking on the majority of the work to get this going. I'm thinking a restaurant with a nice bar where we can actually talk and hear each other. We can talk about food later on when we narrow it down to a place. I'm thinking late September/Early October. Fall is a beautiful time on Long Island!!

I think you should all rent a bus and ride out east and take a winery tour together, do some pumpkin picking, and throw Briermere pies at each other at the end of the day. Pictures, please, when this whole shindig happens.
