Agreed, I went walking through the preseve Sunday with my morning coffee. Very nice.
Central Park in NYC should be just as beautiful with the leaves changing.
You don't always have to go far to appreciate fall folliage. Although if you go up to New Hampshire that is on a whole different level of Beauty

Just drive 25A from Stony Brook to Glen Cove and take some side road excursions, especially in the Brookville/Old Brookville areas.

Did you see any illegals in there? I heard they cut through the preserve to get to their landscaping gigs.

I think we're going to peak up in Northern Westchester this weekend. The best foliage I've seen, though, was in an unexpected place—driving along I-20 from Atlanta to Birmingham.

The Massapequa Preserve is really beautiful right now & should be for weeks to come. My fiance & I just went biking there the other day & wow what a change in the tree colors from last week...what a gem!

Great shots John. You should upload these to Panoramio - Photos of the World . It will show your pics in google maps when someone checks the photo box and is hovered over the preserve.
