Free FICO Credit Score + Check Your Credit Report Online | myFICO is the best site to use and yes, there is a fee. The actual site is "myfico.com" but of course the internet automatically adds the link... (the info you see is misleading re the cost, unless you subscribe to Score Watch)

It says 10 day free trial as long you cancel within the trial period .... is this true or a scam because its $14.95 a month for three months min ?

You are entitled by LAW for free credit report from all 3 agencies. You can do that through 1 site annualcreditreport.com it is free of any fees but only 1x per year. myfico is not free and I recently did not re-new after 7 yrs. with them. Was 149.99 a year last I had it. Not cheap for something that can be free. Many credit cards like Citicard do offer safe free monitoring, been using them now. Saving that 149.99 yr with myfico. That as fas as I am concerned was just a Suze Orman $$ maker for her.

With annualcreditreport.com you can choose mail or immediate online access. Either way free.

Credit Karma only gives you 1 score (TransUnion IIRC).

Sorry, but we're talking about two different things here.

1. credit report - yes, annualcreditreport.com is THE site to go to. And if you stagger the reports for each company (Experian, Transunion, and Equifax) every four months, you can keep track of what's going on year-round (example: October Experian, February Transunion, June Equifact, etc.); there will be some differences because not all companies report to all three, but you'll have a good idea what's being reported.

2. credit score - the score(s) from myfico.com will come closest to what a lender or other merchant will see when they pull your score (yes, lenders receive a different score, often somewhat lower than what we as consumers see). myFico prices have increased over the years, and now apparently they are charging $19.95/report for each company (x3). They'll give you a break if you order all three.
There is no obligation to subscribe.
