Almost complete.... NYC civil servants that live on L.I. And north of the city pay a city waiver tax and have been since mayor crotch was in office.

I am related to someone who works for the city and lives on LI, and he most certainly does pay city income tax. Perhaps the tax is only restricted to certain agencies, but there are definitely at least a portion of NYC workers who live on LI and are required to pay city income tax.

I happen to be perusing IT job postings on LI for months now. One, salary is often not mentioned, hardly ever. And two, you're basing this on lower pay compared to NYC which we all know to be true regardless of VISA sponsoring. I thought you were going to point to a bunch of postings that indicate WILL SPONSOR VISAs.
