Anyone else think they'll shut down the LIE for this again? Not sure why they recently started doing that. You're supposed to plow through storms, not shut down highways and stall major parts of LI.

Gotta get that milk, bread & eggs! You might be stranded in for more than 1-2 days!
Give me a break! I probably have enough food in my house for 2 months.
As far as LIE closure, hey..... If it can save a family members life, why not?
I can see sunrise highway from my house and it looks like it's backed up about 6 miles. From my house to the Oakdale/bohemia merge it should take 3-4 minutes without traffic now it will probably take 1/2 hour. The roads are bad. I just got home from work at 4 pm.
took me 1-1/2 hrs to cover the 15 minute trip from new hyde park to bayside.
