I am looking for new construction homes (3 bed + 2 bath (2.5 preferred)). 3 parking required (1 inside). My budget is around 500k - 600K. I am looking for good school district. I prefer Single family home. It should be close to Penn station, 50 min - 1 hour by train is fine.

Any suggestions? I would prefer nassau county ny, but can consider suffolk county, but not far from NYC.

Do you want an in-ground pool on a 1 acre plot with that? What you are looking for will be impossible to Find.
Even if one popped up on the market, it would be gone before the first open house.

With your budget you are going to have to increase your commute time.

go to MLSLI.com and search for homes built in 2014 with a MAX price of 600,000. That will give you a general idea where most new constructions are located.

Most new homes in that price range are homes that were damaged in Sandy and torn down and a new one built. Builder has to get plot cheap to build a new house and sell for under 600K

If you want Nassau County...........add another $300,000+

At your budget you are looking at Suffolk......Smithtown/St James area.

new construction 700-800k Plainview/Old Bethpage or Syosset. Don't look too far past the Nassau/Suffolk border for the 1-hr requirement.

If you stick to 500k your school district requirement will not be met.
